About the script
I was making some cross-table queries with mysql and trends was fit as subject. Then someone asked how to list it with SEF URL's and grab the graphs
and snippets from the google servers, so it ended up as script. It's pretty basic, but a nice example of making a dynamic two page mini-site. The script
uses apache mod_rewrite, simplexml, php classes (php 5), mysql and cronjobs.
Consider it GPL, download and hack away at it. The articles covering the script are listed in the sidebar on the right.
note: I added Flickr and YouTube stuff, I'll compose a new download with the updated script.
I skipped to using jquery for ajax, blueprint for css, the codebase is a mess. I'll see if I can conjur up a download by may 1st.
